Self esteem will always be enhanced with the experience of serving, helping and leading. Through participation in regular service project, your will elevate their social consciousness to social responsibility – to give sympathy, to understand and help others; to respect the rights and beliefs of others. 

 Youth will also serve as instructors through outreach and service opportunities to youth who may not have the opportunity to enjoy the ocean due to their circumstances. Youth will enhance self esteem through experience. Consequently, self esteem becomes earned esteem.
